Basically I fail at being a Blogger

I don't know why this whole blog thing is so hard for me. It really should be easy. I am super good at my routine. (I never forget to brush my teeth or check my email...or heaven forbid go a day without Facebook.)

I am officially no longer even President...or a Marketing major for that matter. So much has changed. I really should have taken notes! Oh well...onto a new adventure. Dun, dun, dun..Thesis writing, the LSAT, and a absolutely amazing senior year! Undergrad is almost over, and the time really flew by!

Day...a lot later.

What can I say? I am just not cut out to be a professional blogger! It's a good thing that I have some other talents to fall back on. (Let's hope anyway.)

This semester has been flying by. It must just be super fun! I have enjoyed it. There are several new additions to our club, and I couldn't be happier. It is really nice to have new faces around. It is so strange how a group can morph in just one semester.

Let's see...what have I learned so far?

1. Scheduling a room is much more effort than just 1 phone call.
2. Don't forget to send out reminders.
3. Some of us are really good sellers/tablers (Is that a word?). Aka Abby and Austin kick butt at grabbing people and getting them to our table.
4. I hate fliers!!!

Well..cheerio! Today, apparently I am from another country? I keep doing these strange things. Oh well.

Not Day 2, but Post 2

Whew! The first meeting is over. It was a little scary, so I can only imagine people who run really serious meetings. I am so excited for the next couple of meetings, but scared at the same time. Things just keep popping up that are work for me. Let's hope I just have lots of free time soon.

I have one question. Today someone told me the following (randomly): I am not bored; it's just boring. When I asked him to elaborate, he couldn't really. Confusion filled me. I haven't been able to stop thinking about the concept. Number one, I have no idea what he was even referring to...that was his hello, and number two, it is an interesting thought.

Let's all try and not be bored or boring...I feel like that will just make things a little brighter.

DAY 1

I decided that this semester will be one to remember, and I want to remember all of the little details about my joint-presidency of the University of Utah chapter of the American Marketing Association. Whether or not anyone else reads it, I will have it for my own memories.

Today was our first meeting as a new executive board without Chris or Jarin. (They were both at the meeting, but they handed over the reigns.) Weird. Max and I are going to be sharing the role of President. I will be more of the operational/administrative president and he will focus on recruitment/entertainment.

It should be an adventure!
